Young People and

Tools for young people with and without disabilities to contribute to the change of society by promoting the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDCs)

Our Main Objective:

The main purpose of this project is to promote social inclusion of young people with disabilities.
Consequently, this project is aimed to provide tools to young people in order to support and help them to empower themselves and participate in society through Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We want them to participate and commit with the rest of young people, with the purpose of mobilizing, debating and disseminating the SDGs. In this way, all the goals achieved with the project can be multiplied.

Our Project Results:

Training for youth workers on accessible activities on SDGs for youth with and without disabilities

Implementation of activities for the promotion of the SDGs, targeting young people with and without disabilities

Why SDGs?

During the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Member States agreed to launch a process to develop a set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDCs) to succeed the Millennium Development Goals (MDCs).

Why SDGs?

During the 2012 United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, Member States agreed to launch a process to develop a set of Sustainable Development Goals (SDCs) to succeed the Millennium Development Goals (MDCs).
The SDGs are to address all three dimensions of sustainable development (environmental, economic and social) and be coherent with and integrated into the United Nations global development agenda. Disability is referenced in various parts of the SDGs and specifically in parts related to education, growth and employment, inequality, accessibility of human settlements, as well as data collection and monitoring of the SDGs.

Let's keep the good work going! 🙌With "Young People and SDGs" all partners found innovative ways to involve young people with or without disabilities and getting them to reflect and the subject of SDGs.Now we need to keep putting in the work and look for new opportunities to share knowledge and good practices on SDGs. For example, the 2023 SDG Summit will take place on 18-19 September 2023 in New York. It will mark the beginning of a new phase of accelerated progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals with high-level political guidance on transformative and accelerated actions leading up to 2030.👉 www.un.org/en/conferences/SDGSummit2023#YoPeSDGs #SDGs ... During the last months, after successfully completing the course, our youth workers wasted no time putting their newfound knowledge to practical use. They embarked on a mission to empower and inspire the young individuals they worked with by implementing at least two activities they had learned through the comprehensive platform course in #campuspredif. These activities not only served as a testament to their dedication but also as a valuable means of transferring practical skills and insights to the younger generation.Throughout the duration of the project, the entire consortium displayed an unwavering commitment to making a meaningful impact on the lives of the youth involved. One of the innovative approaches they adopted was creating engaging and informative videos. These videos not only captured the essence of the project but also acted as powerful tools for communication and education. Each organization within the consortium actively participated, and in doing so, they ensured that the voices and stories of 20 young people from each organization were authentically represented. In addition to video creation, another significant facet of the project was the piloting phase. This hands-on approach allowed the consortium to refine its strategies and programs by actively involving 20 young people from each organization. These young participants became an integral part of the project's evolution, providing invaluable feedback and insights that ensured the project's success and relevance. In summary, the dedication and collaborative efforts of the youth workers and the entire consortium, their commitment to education, engagement, and empowerment truly made a difference in the lives of the young people they aimed to serve.#yopesdgs #youth #youthworkers #ErasmusPlus #erasmusproject #SDGs #sdgs2023 ...
